Exhausted and a Monday Made It

Today was our first teacher day back.  I am so wiped out it isn't even funny!  It totally scares me how tired I am and the kids aren't even there yet.  Yikes...What is Monday going to be like with all of those adorable little faces staring at me and running me ragged? 

After our welcome back meeting that seemed to last forever, I finally got some work done in my room.  It isn't finished but it is getting there.  We have so many meetings and trainings this week!  I have no idea how I am going to get it all ready on time plus be planned and ready for Monday.  Somehow it will get done.


Before I show the great stuff I made this past week, I would like to introduce you to my boyfriend.  Don't worry, my husband already knows about him.  In fact, he is the one who brought us together.  I am pretty sure he regrets it now though because I have been spending far more time with the boyfriend then the husband lately.  :)

                                 Meet Scotty! 

I tell you, it is love!  Can you believe that my husband has had this thing stashed away at his store for months now and I didn't even know it?  He was using it to laminate sale signs.  Sale signs, really?  I am educating our future!!! That is way more important than some sale signs! Needless to say, Scotty is now where he belongs...in my possession!  If you don't have one then you need to get one!  He said he got this one on sale for $16 on Amazon.  Best $16 ever!

Anyway...on to what I made this week.

1.

Some cute scrapbook owls for my tree that I have on one of the walls in my room.  I got my inspiration here.  Mine is nowhere near as awesome as hers but I am still quite pleased.

My fabulous new clipchart that I got for free from 3rd Grade's a Hoot.  Thank you so much!!!  Ignore my living room wall.  I just wanted to see what it would look like hanging up.

That is it!  I'm not sure if I will have anything else to post for future Monday Made It's.  Now that school is about to start there will be no time for the cute stuff.  I am so glad to have been able to participate.

I hope to take some pics of my finished classroom this week.  I am so happy with it so far (except for my class library because I have the ugliest bins ever!!!).  Have a great week everyone!!

BTW...I am so excited to have 12 followers!!  I make a little giddy shriek every time I get a new follower or a comment and my husband teases me royally for it.  I had no idea how exciting this all would be.
